Job summary

Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) is seeking a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist for the Multiple Sclerosis Center of Excellence in Oklahoma City. The role covers specimen collection, vital signs, patient history documentation, and coordination of care with physicians and labs.

Responsibilities include CLIA-waived point-of-care testing, charting, and supporting administrative tasks while ensuring patient comfort and confidentiality. Monday–Friday schedule with standard office hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 6 months relevant experience, or equivalent education/experience.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or with a team.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood, urine, and other samples; label and process specimens.
• Obtain vital signs, medications, allergies, and medical history.
• Assist with clerical tasks, charting, and billing information.
• Transport patients and assist staff with mobility and comfort.
• Provide results to physician offices and liaise with care facilities.
