Job summary

The Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation is seeking a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant for the Multiple Sclerosis Center of Excellence. You will collect blood and other samples, obtain vital signs, manage patient records, and assist with clinical and research workflows.

Typical hours are 8:00AM–5:00PM, Monday–Friday, with potential variations. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, teamwork, and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced medical environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with 6 months of relevant experience.
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to work independently or in a team.
• Strong oral and written communication; compassionate patient care.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism with diverse groups.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood, urine, and other samples; prepare specimens for transport to lab.
• Obtain vital signs, document medications and allergies, and assist patient care.
• Restock rooms, manage records, and assist with billing and scheduling as needed.
• Provide patient results to physicians and liaise between patients and providers.
