US Fertility, the nation's leading network of physician-led fertility practices, has an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant to join the RMA of New York team in Eastside, New York.

This role offers Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekends and holiday rotations, earning $20–$24 per hour and the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization dedicated to patient care, research, and compassionate fertility services.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma.
• Completion of a certified or formal medical training program (preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience (preferred).
• Computer proficiency required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

• Perform a high volume of phlebotomy using proper technique and universal precautions.
• Set up, stock, and maintain supplies for the blood drawing stations.
• Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs.
• Document patient care services utilizing daily logs, EMR, and outside forms.
• Enter labs into computer systems and print labels; ensure lab orders are in place.
• Check patients in/out, answer phones, schedule appointments, and collect payments.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Medical Assistantto join our team atRMA of New York in Eastside, NewYork.

• Schedule:Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:45 AM to 6:30 PM and every other weekend 6:45 AM to 12:00 PM, a holiday rotation is included, 6:45 AM to 12:00 PM when working on a holiday, Eastern Time
• Compensation:$20 per hour up to $24 per hour (commensurate with experience)

In this role, theMedical Assistantwill:

• Perform a high volume of phlebotomy using proper technique and universal precautions
• Set up, stock, and maintain supplies for the blood drawing stations
• Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs
• Document patient care services utilizing daily logs, electronic medical records, and appropriate outside laboratory forms
• Utilize the computer in entering labs and printing labels, ensure orders for lab work are in place
• Check patients in/out, answer phones, schedule appointments, and collect payments clinical care of fertility patients
• Set up rooms for procedures, take vital signs, obtain patient height and weight, assist with procedures as needed, clean and stock rooms and care for equipment according to manufacturer and OSHA guidelines
• Maintain patient medical records through the use of electronic medical records
