Job summary

Yoh Services LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist for a temporary full-time contract at a non-profit client in Duarte, CA. The role is within Employee Health, performing new hire screenings and blood draws while supporting the front office as needed.

Ideal candidates hold a Medical Assistant certification and CPT, with EMR (Epic) experience, strong customer service, and a team-focused attitude. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, through at least Nov 1, 2026 with potential

• Minimum one year of medical front office experience and blood draw experience.
• Experience with EMR systems (Epic) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support and fill in as the phlebotomist when needed.
• Perform blood draws for 8–16 new hires per day.
• Greet patients and check them in/out; answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Maintain employee health records and enter labs into Epic.
• Prepare charts for scanning and other administrative duties.

Medical Assistant/Phlebotomistneeded for afull-time contract opportunity at Yoh’s well-known non-profit client located in Duarte, CA.

This position is part of the Employee Health Department where they perform new hire screenings for employees of the medical center. You will be drawing titers for 8-16 new hires per day. During downtime, willsupportthefront office. Must have MA Cert ANDCPT or at minimum, CPT.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Mainly administrative support but will be filling in as the Phlebotomist whenever they need
• Blood draws for approx.8-16 new hires per day
• Greet patients and check them in/out
• Answer phones and schedule appointments when reception team is out
• Maintain employee health records: setting up medical charts, pulling results, and entering them into chart
• Prep charts for scanning and pull files
• Enter labs into EMR (Epic)
• Additional administrative responsibilities as-needed

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Strong phlebotomy skills
• Organizational skills and good at multi-tasking
• Active CPR/BLS
• (2) Step TB testor QuantiFERONGoldtest
• Immunization/titer records for MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella, and Hep B series
• Current Flu shot
