Job description

Location: MCI Framingham.Framingham, MA with occasional travel to Norfolk and Bridgewater Massachusetts. Mileage covered

Pay Rate: $24.00/hour

Schedule: Monday- Friday, 40 hours (8-hour shifts).

The Medical Assistant /Phlebotomist is responsible for:

  • Conducting assessments for patients referred to treatment and/or enrolled in services including triage, COWS, vitals,
  • Scheduling and preparing documentation for all admission physical assessments, annual physical assessments and follow up appointments with the medical provider.
  • Data entering all medication lists into the electronic health record for medication reconciliation purposes and as directed.
  • Submitting and processing all medical records requests.
  • Conducting toxicology screening in accordance with the program policy/procedure and regulatory frequency guidelines.
  • Phlebotomy



Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Medical Assistant Certificate, Nursing Assistant Certificate (CNA) and/or experience in a healthcare setting required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have phlebotomy certificate
