Job summary

Schweiger seeks a Per Diem Medical Assistant for our King of Prussia Office. The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the highest quality medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a dermatology setting. Previous healthcare experience is required.

Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere, assist physicians in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures, and document treatments within guidelines. Availability Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays during 7:00am–7:30pm; weekend

Qualifications

• Dermatology experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.
• Must be computer savvy with Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Open availability to work weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Promote a professional, welcoming atmosphere for patients and providers.
• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures.
• Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, and procedures in the chart.
• Understand provider–patient flow and anticipate next steps.
• Prep rooms before/after patients and ensure equipment is in working order.
• Provide pre-care and post-care instructions as needed.
• Scan retail and cosmetic products and alert leadership of low stock.
• Perform inventory and stocking of supplies/equipment as requested.
• Attend in-house training and ongoing education.

Job Summary

Per Diem Medical Assistant at our King of Prussia Office. The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the highest quality of medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a medical setting. Previous healthcare experience is required.

Schedule

Per Diem. Availability Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within operating hours of 7:00am - 7:30pm. Open Flexibility to help cover in a team environment is needed.

Medical Assistant

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care offered to patients and for respective provider(s)
• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures
• Assist provider in recording prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorization and procedures within established guidelines
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate provider’s next steps to the best of their ability
• Prep rooms before and after patients, including checking all equipment at the beginning of each shift to ensure all is in proper working order
• Provide pre-care and post-care treatment instructions as needed
• Daily scan all retail and cosmetic products and medical supplies and alert Head MA and/or GM of any low level supplies
• Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested
• Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities

Qualifications

• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

• Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends
