Job summary

MultiCare Health System, Inc. is seeking a Per Diem Medical Assistant to join our Gig Harbor clinic. This part-time role supports physicians and APPs with patient care, exams, and procedures.

The MA-Certified candidate will manage patient flow, record vital signs, and assist with specimen collection, medication administration, and documentation. A WA MA-Certified credential and BLS are required, with at least 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• WA State MA-Certified is required.
• Minimum 1 year in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong patient interview and vital signs experience.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient flow with front office staff.
• Interview patients and obtain vital signs.

Work situations require performance of safe clinical skills within the scope of practice of the MA-C. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
