Job summary

MultiCare Clinics is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) in Washington state for a part-time, .01 FTE position. The MA-C will work under licensed practitioners in a physician/APP office setting, performing safe clinical tasks and maintaining patient flow in collaboration with front office staff.

The role requires MA-C licensure in WA, a minimum of one year healthcare experience preferred, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) licensure.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills patient care responsibilities as assigned which may include: organizing patient flow in collaboration with front office staff; interviewing patients; obtaining vital signs; assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments; performing specimen collection, including venipuncture; administering medications in compliance with Washington State Department of Health regulations and documented competency; relaying instructions to patients and families.
• Fulfills clerical responsibilities as assigned which may include: sending and receiving patient medical records; facilitating patient referrals; preparing forms for patients.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $24.83 - $35.71 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
