Schweiger Bay Shore Office is seeking a Per Diem Medical Assistant to support dermatology care with high-quality medical, clinical and clerical tasks. Open to new grads, candidates should be detail oriented, reliable and team oriented while covering a flexible weekday schedule within 7:00am–7:30pm.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians during medical, cosmetic and laser procedures, documenting treatments, prepping rooms, managing supplies, and providing patient support with a welcoming,

Qualifications

• Must have healthcare experience or willingness to learn in a medical setting.
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience using EMR and patient scheduling systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist physicians in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Prepare and stock treatment rooms before and after patients.
• Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, and procedures within guidelines.
• Assist in patient flow and anticipate provider needs during visits.
• Manage inventory and stocking of supplies as requested.

The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the highest quality of medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a medical setting. Open to no experience but has an interest in healthcare, teamwork experience, and detail oriented with a flexible schedule. We employ college graduates and gap year students who have an interest in the medical field, whether you have majored in the sciences or are switching tracks, we want to help you on your journey!Schedule: Per Diem. Availability Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within operating hours of 7:00am - 7:30pm.
