Schweiger in Canandaigua is seeking a Per Diem Medical Assistant to support physicians in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures. You will assist with treatments, document prescriptions, and help ensure a professional, welcoming patient experience.

The role requires dermatology experience, prior healthcare work, EMR proficiency, and strong communication and organizational skills. Open weekday availability with occasional Saturdays; on-site duties include room prep, supply management, and

• Dermatology experience required.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.
• Must be computer savvy with Word/Excel/Outlook.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions and prior authorizations within guidelines.
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate next steps.
• Prep rooms before and after patients and verify equipment is working.
• Provide pre-care and post-care instructions as needed.
• Scan retail and cosmetic products and alert heads of low supplies.
• Attend in-house training and continued education opportunities.

The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the highest quality of medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a medical setting. Previous healthcare experience is required.Schedule: Availability Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within operating hours of (7a-7:30p).
