Hiring Bonus

$1000 Hiring Bonus for Qualifying Medical Assistants.

Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant will assist the provider of an ambulatory health care site with facilitation of patient visit and procedures, routine laboratory tests, referrals, and quality outcomes for the practice population. As an MA, you will also actively participate in Network quality initiatives regarding best practices.

• Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas for patient use, including required cleaning and stocking of supplies.
• Room patients and manage an efficient flow of provider’s caseload.
• Obtain necessary vital signs, EKGs, and/or specimen collection.
• Document care using the EPIC EMR system.
• Perform Point of Care Testing based on the patient’s chief complaint and available protocols.
• Process referrals and medication refills.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, providers, and staff.

Requirements

• Diploma from a Medical Assistant program OR a high school diploma plus one year of Medical Assistant experience in physician practice.
• Medical Assistant certification required within six months of hire.
