Job summary

ProMedica Health and Wellness Center in Ohio is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our patient-centered care team. In the office setting, the Medical Assistant communicates with patients and co-workers and collaborates with leadership to improve patient care, ensuring a safe experience from check-in to visit completion.

This role handles data collection, vitals, and administrative duties, while addressing patient calls and relaying messages to providers and nurses.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• BLS (CPR), must present a current BLS card from the AHA at time of employment or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant.

From fathering data from the patient to documenting the reasons for the visit and obtaining vitals, the medial assistant strives for clinical excellence.Communication is key in this role. You will communicate with patients, peers and all members of the health care team.
