Virginia Mason Medical Center, recognized among the Best Hospitals in Washington state by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking a certified Medical Assistant. You will assist providers and other members of the healthcare team in the clinic by performing various back-office and patient-related tasks to ensure smooth workflow within the department. You will also perform a variety of patient care procedures within the Medical Assistant (MA) scope of practice.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: injections, EKGs, ear lavage, blood draws, measuring vital signs (weight, height, blood pressure, pulse, respirations, temperature), managing rooming and patient flow including pre-visit preparation, assisting during patient visits, post-visit duties, informing providers of schedule changes, assisting with front office activities, and reporting test results as directed by the provider.
