Job summary

Intermountain Health is hiring a Medical Assistant Resident to learn and provide patient care in a pediatric ambulatory clinic in Park City, Utah. You will work under clinicians, nurses, and other MAs to gather information for visits and support the care team.

This full-time role (40 hrs/week) offers hands-on training, clarification of duties, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team as you develop MA skills and contribute to patient well-being.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification for healthcare providers is required before start date.
• Successful completion of a Medical Assistant program or 1 year of MA experience as an alternative.
• Current RN/LPN license also qualifies the candidate.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians in gathering information and delivering care in an ambulatory clinic.
• Communicate with patients via phone and in person to coordinate care.
