Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Medical Assistant II in Seattle to support licensed clinicians by performing delegated clinical duties and ensuring patient flow. You will be fully competent in the clinical needs for the assigned clinic, following established policies and procedures.

The role requires accredited medical assisting training, relevant certifications, and at least 6 months of healthcare experience. This is an on-site position within our patient-centered care culture.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
  • Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
  • Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
  • Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS within 30 days of hire.
  • 6 months - Healthcare experience.
  • 6 months - Medical Assistant experience.

Required Qualifications
  • Coursework/Training - Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants or,
