Position Summary:
The Medical Assistant must show an uncompromising commitment to providing the highest quality of patient care by being an integral part of the clinical team. Medical Assistants are under the general supervision of the office manager but under the direct supervision of the licensed provider while performing clinical and other supporting patient care tasks. The Medical Assistant will perform their duties to the full level in accordance with NYS guidelines as outlined below. The Medical Assistant is assigned duties and responsibilities related to patient care in a team-based care and integrative health environment. The MA must demonstrate competency in all skills related to the performance of patient care and demonstrate effective communication skills. The MA assists in the design and oversight of efficient patient flow and upholds an environment of patient safety and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
USD $19.00 - USD $19.00 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and position location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
