Methodist Hospitals in Indiana seeks a Medical Assistant to support the primary care team by delivering patient care, preparing exam areas, and assisting with procedures. You will interact with patients, providers, and ancillary staff to maintain smooth clinical operations.
The role requires 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, a high school diploma or GED, and current BLS certification, with certification within 60 days of hire for newly certified staff.
Under general supervision, to perform work providing support of the primary care provider and team by providing patient care and assisting with procedures, patient care follow-up, and maintenance of patient flow. Interacts with internal departments, businesses, insurance companies and billing services.
