Job description

Position: Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant - OBGYN

Position Highlights:

  1. Location: Skokie, IL
  2. Employment Type: Full Time
  3. Hours: Rotating hours Monday through Friday between 6:30am - 7:30pm, with rotating Saturdays
  4. Travel: May be required to travel to other sites based on department needs

Compensation:

The hourly pay range is $17.50 - $28.84, determined by experience and expertise. Endeavor Health is reviewing its compensation structure, and starting with May 2025 paychecks, the minimum hourly rate for this role will be adjusted to $19.89.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones and schedule appointments
  • Collect co-payments and complete patient registration
  • Provide administrative support to physicians
  • Check in/out patients, verify insurances, and greet patients
  • Document vital signs, allergies, medications, and reason for visit
  • Assist with front office tasks and perform basic vitals (BP, height, weight)
  • Perform phlebotomy and injections as required

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; medical assisting program preferred
  • CPR certification (American Heart Association) required
  • Medical Assistant Certification preferred
  • At least one year of relevant work experience; training provided if needed
