Job summary

US Fertility is seeking a Medical Assistant / Patient Services Specialist to float between the San Mateo and Menlo Park offices. The role involves phlebotomy, preparing supplies, and coordinating lab work while assisting clinicians with procedures and patient education.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year MA experience, 6 months phlebotomy, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Competitive benefits and a rotating schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• Completion of an MA or Phlebotomy program preferred.
• Minimum of one year MA experience in healthcare and 6 months phlebotomy experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform a high volume of phlebotomy.
• Maintain supplies for blood drawing stations.
• Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs.
• Document patient care services in logs and records.
• Enter labs and print labels in the computer system.
• Assist physician or ultrasound tech with procedures.
• Assist with HSGs as needed.
• Take vital signs and provide clinical assistance.
• Support the clinical care of fertility patients.
• Provide patient/couple counseling and pre/post-op education.
• Create a compassionate environment for patients and families.
