Pre-Visit Coordination and Outreach: Reviews clinical schedules to perform pre-visit reviews, ensuring necessary external documentation (e.g., lab results, consult notes, hospital records) is obtained prior to the appointment, and conducts targeted patient outreach to schedule specialty appointments and required testing.

Operational and Administrative Support: Answers, triages, and routes incoming telephone calls appropriately, schedules patient appointments and diagnostic testing upon checkout, directly schedules patient visits across associated practices using established scheduling rules, and coordinates prior authorizations and insurance referrals.

Staff Training and Peer Mentorship: Trains new clinical staff on established office workflows and serves as an onboarding resource to maintain operational consistency across the medical assistant team.
