Job summary

Methodist Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Representative to provide healthcare services under the guidance of physicians or APPs. You will perform routine clinical procedures, participate in patient education, and document care in health records as assigned.

The role requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, a high school diploma, and national certification with BLS. Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification and BLS are required.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant/Patient Representative will be able to provide healthcare services to individuals as instructed by the Physician or APP. The Medical Assistant will perform routine clinical procedures, participate in patient education, enter appropriate documentation into patients’ health records, and perform all other duties as assigned within the scope of their certification.
