Pain Management Consultants A is seeking a reliable Medical Assistant to support patient care across Oceanside and Encinitas locations. The role focuses on rooming patients, documenting histories, and assisting providers with examinations.

The ideal candidate will have CMA/RMA certification or equivalent, CPR/BLS preferred, and strong communication skills in a busy medical office. Flexible part-time to full-time schedule offered.

Qualifications

• CMA/RMA or equivalent certification preferred, but experience may be considered.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Previous experience in a medical office or clinic is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and room patients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and supplies.
• Schedule appointments, answer phones, and assist with patient inquiries.
• Manage EMR accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and prescription refills.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
