Zusammenfassung

The Certified Medical Assistant will support physicians and the health care team at San Antonio Podiatry Associates by gathering patient medical history, obtaining and recording vital statistics, and occasionally assisting with minor, office-based procedures. They will enter the required information into EMR to ensure the quality of care.

This role requires strong communication, the CMA certification, and the ability to work in a podiatry clinic, with occasional travel to other locations.

Qualifikationen

• HIPAA and OSHA knowledge and compliance.
• Certified Medical Assistant Certification required.
• Medical office experience preferred.
• Must be professional and courteous.
• Podiatry terminology knowledge/experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to work with a team or independently.
• Knowledge of EMR/Computer skills.
• LMR Certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Greet patients promptly and courteously

Physical Demands

• Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time.
• May be required to bend, reach and lift up to 20 pounds as needed throughout the day.

Schedule and Related Information

• Work schedule is Monday through Friday
• Travel to other locations may be occasionally necessary
