Qualifications

• Must have completed a Medical Assistant program and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• MA certification is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures.
• Ability to document clearly and accurately in an EHR.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the clinical care team to deliver the best care for our patients.
• Set up medical equipment and perform related tests; administer injections and collect specimens.
• Take vital signs and document in the patient’s EHR.
• Review orders, process lab requests, and communicate test results to patients as directed.
• Provide patient education and assist with patient paperwork and referrals as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and protect patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
