Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant program from an accredited school preferred
• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program required

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with non-invasive medical procedures and take vital signs.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms before patient visits and clinical procedures.
• Perform patient intake duties, including reporting test results and phone triage.
• Review and maintain daily logs and documentation.
• Pre-register patients, schedule appointments, coordinate referrals, verify insurance eligibility.
• Maintain an organized workload and provide prompt, courteous service to patients and staff.
• Monitor and requisition supplies and equipment to ensure inventory.
• Educate patients on medications, diets, and health topics.
