Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our patient-centric care delivery model in Toledo. In the office, you will communicate with patients and team members, assist with data collection and vitals, and support clinicians to improve patient care outcomes.

You ensure a safe patient experience from check-in through visit completion, handling calls and messages for providers when appropriate. This role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• BLS (CPR) required; must present current BLS card or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients, peers, and health care team to coordinate care.
• Document reasons for visit and obtain vitals to support clinical care.
• Provide a safe patient experience from entry to discharge and assist providers and nurses as needed.
