Job summary

Tenet Physician Resources is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct nursing care in a medical office, under physician supervision. You will help with patient assessments, vital signs, documentation, and clinical procedures to ensure a smooth, patient-centered experience.

The role requires an accredited Medical Assisting program and a current BLS certification, with potential for local travel between clinics. A sign-on bonus is offered for new hires.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care in a medical office under a physician's direction.
• Assists in patient assessment, vital signs, history, and medication lists.
• Documents in patient records and assists with procedures and treatments.
• Administers prescribed medications and injections; performs labs as CLIA-waived or non-CLIA waived.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and stocks supplies for daily operations.
• Handles front desk tasks such as scheduling and referrals.
