Job summary

Vail Health is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant/clinical support professional to assist providers, manage patient records in the EHR, and handle administrative duties. The role requires clinical tasks from preparing patients for procedures to documenting vitals and patient history with accuracy.

Requires a minimum of 2 years in patient care and knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, and OSHA rules. Licenses such as CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA or Colorado LPN/EMT are listed as acceptable

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience with patient care and administrative duties.
• Ability to perform venipunctures, administer injections, and initiate IV therapy.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care and examinations.
• Record vital signs and patient history in the EHR accurately.
• Handle patient calls promptly and professionally.
• Prepare patients for procedures including venipunctures and injections.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate plans of care to providers.
