Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and nursing leadership with clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth patient experience. Typical shifts are 4 - 10 hours, and you will greet patients, collect histories and vitals, and prepare them for exams.

You will also assist during exams, perform charting in EPIC when required, and handle routine administrative duties to keep the department running efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Formal MA program with 160-hour externship or equivalent experience.
• Current BLS-C certification upon hire or by end of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to the exam room.
• Obtain and record medical histories and vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Perform administrative tasks to support patient care.
