Job summary

Advocate Medical Group Glenview is hiring a Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative tasks within the clinic. You will welcome patients, record vital signs, prepare patients for exams, and assist providers during procedures.

Responsibilities include administering medications and vaccines, performing lab tasks, and documenting in the EHR. Travel to sister sites in Morton Grove and Lincolnwood may be required, with shifting hours to meet clinic needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience.
• Strong phlebotomy skills (highly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
