Job summary

Access Community Health Network (ACCESS) in Chicago, IL seeks a Clinical Assistant to support a skilled care team and ensure comprehensive patient care. You will assist providers with onsite procedures, monitor patients, and help coordinate services.

The role includes taking vital signs, performing phlebotomy, administering vaccines, answering patient questions, scheduling appointments, and reviewing medical records, with Epic training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical office or health care environment.
• 1 year EHR experience preferred; Epic experience a plus.
• Bilingual/Spanish a plus.
• Beginning proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Work with a care team to provide quality health services and resources.
• Assist providers with onsite procedures.
• Take vital signs, perform phlebotomy and vaccinate patients.
• Assist patients by answering questions, returning calls, scheduling appointments, and reviewing records.
• Grow knowledge through Epic training and other clinical/technical training.
