Job summary

Colorado Urology in Westminster, CO is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical care and maintain exam rooms. You will take vital signs, assist providers, and help with specimen processing in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have a Medical Assistant program completion or 1 year of MA experience, and a High School Diploma or GED. Travel to other sites within a reasonable geographic region is expected; a supportive team and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or 1 year MA experience in a medical clinic required.
• Urology experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily exam rooms with necessary supplies for patient care.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and collect vital signs and specimens.
• Triage patient calls for pharmacy requests, test results, or medical questions.
• Maintain OSHA/MOSHA logs and records.
• Follow sterilization and disinfection practices throughout the facility.
• Dispose of biomedical waste per policy.
• Greet patients and visitors by phone or in person.
