Job summary

BrightView Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care under supervision, following established treatment program policies and utilizing medical skills for planning, assessment, intervention, and evaluation of patient needs.

You will perform laboratory procedures, coordinate with care teams, document in the EMR, and support administrative operations while upholding HIPAA and compliance standards. A HS diploma and 2+ years of MA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate timely and efficient patient flow during visits.
• Perform administrative duties to support patient flow as assigned.
• Prepare specimens for shipping.
• Maintain appropriate inventory of laboratory supplies and a sanitary, organized work environment.
• Provide input on overall treatment philosophy, treatment services, and patient care.
• Communicate with teams regarding patient appointments and collaborate in center team meetings.
• Consult team members on lab testing, results, and patient issues.
