Job summary

BrightView Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care in Ocean City, MD. You will perform clinical tasks, assist with lab procedures, and ensure accurate EMR documentation under supervision.

The role emphasizes patient flow, HIPAA compliance, teamwork, and compassionate care. Requires a high school diploma and 2+ years MA experience; familiarity with MS Office and EMR systems is preferred. We offer competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior medical assistant experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and 42-CFR Part 2 desired.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient vital signs, TB testing, and blood draws.
• Facilitate timely and efficient patient flow for the duration of visits.
• Perform administrative duties to support patient flow as assigned.
• Prepare specimens for shipping.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and a sanitary, organized work environment.
• Provide input on treatment philosophy, services, and patient care.
