Job summary

NORTHEAST PEDIATRIC ASSOCIATES is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Rochester Hills, Michigan team. You will prepare for patient visits, support nurses and doctors, and help manage tests and lab reports to keep care on track.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification or CMA preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment
• Clean instruments and equipment after use
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties
