Job summary

ABBATE & SHARABY MD PC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical staff. You will prepare for patient visits by pulling charts, setting up equipment, and assisting nurses and doctors with routine care.

You will handle charting, track basic lab results, answer phones, manage inventory of supplies, and help maintain a clean, organized clinical area. Strong customer service and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• BLS certification or CMA preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment.
• Clean instruments and equipment after use.
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs.
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures.
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties.
