Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will be preparing for each patient visit by preparing charts and pulling notes before their arrival, providing routine support alongside medical staff, and assisting with keeping track of tests and lab reporting to ensure everything is uploaded in computer chart as well as being in paper chart for appointment. You will be assisting the front desk with filing paperwork, answering phones, pulling charts for patients appointments, helping with referrals to specialists and for tests, helping with prior authorizations on medications and other office work. You will also be helping manage the inventory of medical supplies, cleaning instruments and rooms as needed. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about a working medical environment, and has previous office experience.
