Job summary

Jersey Womens Care Center Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient visits, prepare charts, assist with nursing staff, and help manage tests and lab reporting to ensure timely information for patients.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, interest in learning about a medical environment, and prior office experience; bilingual English/Spanish beneficial for daily interactions.

Qualifications

• BLS or CMA certification preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Attention to detail essential.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for patient visits by pulling charts/notes and setting up equipment.
• Clean instruments and equipment after use.
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues; identify visit needs.
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures.
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and manage basic medical office duties.
