Job summary

URGICLINIC URGENT CARE PLLC in Chicago Ridge is seeking a Medical Assistant to prepare for visits, pull charts, and support nurses with patient care. You will set up equipment, track tests and labs, and help keep patients informed about their care.

You will manage medical supplies inventory and clean instruments and rooms as needed. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about a working medical environment, and prior office experience, with BLS

Qualifications

• BLS certification or CMA is desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
• Previous office experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for patient visits by pulling charts and notes and setting up equipment.
• Clean instruments and equipment after use.
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues and visit needs.
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures.
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties.
