Job summary

AFM FAMILY & INTERNAL MEDICINE is seeking a Medical Assistant to support daily patient flow. You will prepare charts, pull notes, assist nurses and physicians, track tests, and help with lab reporting to keep patients informed.

You will also manage supplies, set up equipment, clean instruments and rooms, and provide friendly, reliable customer service to patients and families in a fast-paced office. Experience in a medical office and a desire to learn are welcomed, along with strong attention to

Qualifications

• BLS Certification or CMA desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment.
• Clean instruments and equipment after use.
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs.
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures.
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties.
