Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
• Completed medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant with clinical skills: vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Healthcare experience for at least 6 months.
• Medical Assistant experience for at least 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist with exams and procedures.
• Administer medications and perform tests under supervision.
• Handle front desk tasks, patient registration, and insurance billing.
• Cashiering and payment collection in addition to patient care responsibilities.
