Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants or
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program or
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces or
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes vital signs, injections, and medication administration
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• 6 months of Healthcare experience
• 6 months of Medical Assistant experience

Responsibilities

• Assists with exams and procedures and administers medications under supervision
• Performs tests as directed by licensed medical providers
• Handles front desk tasks, patient registration, insurance billing and payment collection
• Supports mission and core values in daily activities and interactions
• Providence caregivers are valued and integral to care delivery

Education

Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on clinical training for medical assistants

Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program

Has completed two years of medical training in United States Armed Forces

Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant (vital signs, injections, medication administration)
