Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant Training Program preferred.
• Up to one year of experience required.
• Three to six months of on-the-job training required to attain proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care procedures as required.
• Registers patients and handles records, service charges, and payor information.
• Takes vital signs and records information for physician evaluation.
• Administers medications as directed by the physician.
• Assists with diagnostic and therapeutic treatments.
• Cares for patients and maintains clinic cleanliness and safety.
