Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• CMA/RMA certification required or in progress.
• Current BLS certificate from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient in computer skills for chart completion.
• Familiarity with Medical Terminology.
• Two years of medical assisting experience; Orthopedic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients; conduct initial intake.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
• Prepare charts and consent forms; assist during exams.
• Record vital signs and patient history; ensure accuracy before visits.
• Prepare and handle lab specimens; label and submit to labs.
