Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; MA program with externship preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with a 160-hour externship or equivalent experience.
• Current BLS-C certification required by hire or by end of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Obtain and record patient medical histories accurately.
• Measure and document vital signs during patient assessments.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures to facilitate efficient care.
