Job summary

Dignity Health Medical Foundation North State in California is seeking a Medical Assistant to support daily patient flow and the medical team. You will prepare patient charts, assist with exams or procedures, and relay physician instructions.

You will administer physician-directed medications, take vital signs, manage medical records (charts and EMR), and communicate patient concerns to providers. You will also collaborate with physicians, insurers, and pharmacies for approvals and refills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program.
• Basic Life Support - CPR required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient charts and relay physician instructions.
• Assist with patient exams or procedures and take vital signs.
