Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; MA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office as a Medical Assistant.
• Proficient in taking vital signs, collecting patient samples, and basic clinical tasks.
• Familiar with EMR systems and diagnostic/procedure coding.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Work with clinician to complete necessary documentation for patient care.
• Assist clinicians with patient examinations as needed.
• Triaging patients and collecting patient history for clinician review.
• Work across clinicians in a clinic to ensure smooth flow of appointments.
• Update and manage quality measures related to ACO programs.
• Manage office tasks and coordinate with front desk staff.
• Ensure patient information is secured and records are accurate.
