Job summary

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certificate from an approved program; basic life support certification favored.
• Fingerprint clearance card (Level I) required or applied within seven working days.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical and non-clinical duties for Medical Assistant tasks within scope of practice.
• Completes patient intake steps: documents responses and records in EHR.
• Assists with procedures and coordinates outside records, labs, and imaging as needed.
• Ensures discharge instructions are understood and documented in the EHR.
• Maintains a clean, safe workspace and adheres to HIPAA and Joint Commission standards.
