Responsibilities

• Performs vital signs, height, weight and screening; documents findings.
• Collects and assists in specimen collection per protocols; completes requisitions and labels.
• Performs daily controls and calibration of lab equipment; reports inaccuracies.
• Performs ECGs and phlebotomy; adheres to infection control standards.
• Assists physicians and nurses with procedures following protocols (e.g., lumbar puncture, pelvic exam).
• Maintains orderliness of exam rooms; stocks supplies and checks required logs.
