Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• NJ only: post-secondary medical assisting program with 330+ hours and IM/SC injections training.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical office procedures.
• Ability to document medical histories, vitals, medications in written or electronic records.
• CMA certification within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure proper identification.
• Perform and document vital signs and basic clinical care.
• Assist physicians with examinations and diagnostics, including EKG and venipuncture.
• Maintain inventory and order clinical supplies to ensure smooth office operations.
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
